The vision for this bed was elegance, soft curves, and a touch of metallic detail.
CONCEPTS
I began sketching different bed forms and focused on softness, curves, and fabric techniques. I referenced European and Art Deco forms.

After reviewing with the buying and sourcing teams, we agreed this was the most successful concept to appeal to the Crate customer.

Final product
The Ava bed is a soft, feminine shelter bed in velvet and has brass finish metal legs. Well-appointed yet modern, the Ava bed can be styled in traditional and contemporary bedrooms.
