aNAISE COLLECTION

INSPIRATION

Inspiration for this collection originated from vintage Parisian style and design. Woven cane and soft silhouettes was where I started.

CONCEPTS

I explored different profiles for beds and casegoods that could utilize cane. As a team, we narrowed down the options that were the most approachable for the Crate customer.

renderings

To further refine the designs, I rendered the top choices and started to explore material finishes.

Final renderings

The pill shaped headboard better embodied the original design intent and this is the design we moved forward with.

spec packs

From here, I created spec packs which included design callouts, technical CAD drawings, and material specifications. I partnered with the sourcing team throughout the sampling process.

sample reviews

We conducted sample reviews overseas and domestically to ensure the final product aligned with the original design intent. This involved problem solving the construction for the headboard.

Final product

The Anaise collection channels 1930’s curves and mid-century caning. The modernized yet soft profile is a fresh update to classic cane forms.
